Took me about two weeks of reviewing it and editing it (over the weekends) to finish this one. Altogether I worked about 11 hours I believe. Used Photoshop CS4 and plenty of my own textures.

Hope you guys like the new concept! I wanted to blend some colors that fit together nicely without having and blue or green since those are overused in my previous space art.

Since this is my one of my favorite space arts I've made so far, I decided to upload it today which is my 18th birthday! :D

Hehe thanks! I remember how proud of it I used to be when I first created it. As I keep looking at it I keep seeing possible improvements. But I'm glad to see people still like it :D

Nice piece too;) the red prurple tones are very nice and calm, the sun on the right, makes it like sun is far away
the texture is again very nice;)

Hehe yeah! I had fun with this! Really wanted to make the right side lit up while giving a cool effect using the shadowing on the planet! I think I made the planet too big though :XD:

Haha sorry I can't! That's my fav one! I took it with my camera a year ago and that's the one that I use on most of my planets! I recently started using google earth to make more realistic planets, but this is like my signature! So you can't have it! Hey, I forgot your e-mail! I actually found the texture of the wood. So as soon as I get your e-mail I can send it to you ;)

and for hero stars, basically they're any stars you place in by hand and/or that stand out from your normal starfield.
