Macro shot from 2011 I did with my 50mm macro lens. I really took a long time before I decided to upload it since I have a lot more coming. Please tell me what you think as this is one of my first macro shots I've done.

Canon 60D w/ 50mm 2.5 macro.
4/30/2011 at UCLA botanical gardens.

I thought this was a painting. The flower just flows across the screen and the green just pops! The light is amazing.

Thank you so much for the compliment, I really appreciate such lovely feedback :) My photography has been so unpopular compared to the rest of my gallery... I feel so flattered to hear this :)

Btw thanks for your support, it means a lot :D

I really do hope that you continue working with the macro lens. I believe you have a gift. The picture you took of that flower was pure magic.

I'll definitely keep doing macro photography in the future whenever I get the chance. Lately I've been focusing more on landscapes and people though. But I'll definitely keep doing those.

Thanks again for the compliments :D
