Microsoft Employees Disrupt Wii U Best Buy EventsRemember how Nintendo was showcasing some of their E3 games at participating Best Buy stores around the country? Well, apparently Microsoft employees have been hired to go to these events and preach about the Xbox One and make comments like "why would you buy a outdated Wii U when the Xbox One is right around the corner?"
However, the employees aren't getting what they hoped for. Most customers just start bashing the Xbox One in response. Seriously, Microsoft, the people attending these Best Buy Wii U events are people who are intimately familiar with the crap you pulled at E3. They ain't takin' your shit.
At first I thought this might just be a case of one really loyal Microsoft employee taking matters into his own hands (especially since the original source was /v/), but reports have come in from numerous Best Buy's around the country that indicate many Microsoft employees have ambushed the demo lines trying to persuade people to switch to the Xbox One.

The Used Game ParadigmOver the course of this past generation I've been watching the video game market react to the way it's been forced to deal with increasing changes. I've come out against used game sales and even written a journal about boycotting GameStop because (like most people at the time) I believed they were the root cause of all the problems the video game industry has. But that's something I don't believe now as intently as i did then. From where I sit, piracy and used games sales are a problem, but not in the way game companies want us to believe that they are.
Used games are a good thing for consumers. We get to try games out, and if we don't like what we see or finish it early, we trade it in and try another title instead. It's a very good system for us since video game rentals are much harder to come by. Most video rental stores in America have gone extinct and outside specific Red Box Kiosks there aren't a lot of places for consumers to rent video games. The exception, of course, being thr

Please Pants Responsibly (Paper Notebooks FTW)

There are two ways to write a novel. Plotting (you make an outline, a plan, a roadmap if you will, and then you sit down and write it) and pantsing (you write "by the seat of your pants, throwing caution to the wind). So when I get asked if I'm a plotter or a pantser, I'm all like er, uh, hold on, let me? Pantser? I think? But I kind of, um, do planny things?
And it gets kind of awkward because in these inarticulate moments I have managed to confuse everyone including myself. And probably spilled a drink.
In recent discussions, however, I've had a bit of a revelation, silly as it is. I've realized that I -- like many writers -- am a plotter/pantser hybrid. And perhaps what I'm doing is something we could call Pantsing Responsibly. And, maybe, just maybe, I could share some of my responsible pantsing tips with other writers. Starting with paper notebooks.

SPIKE updatesJust thought I'd share with you guys some updates on the progress of finishing my "SPIKE" novel.

As you can see, I've been uploading about one art per day lately!
That's because I have a lot of pictures that I took and some space art that I made!
I also have some textures I made, and wallpapers of different kinds, including space art, sci-fi, cars, flowers, sunsets, and more!
Right now I have about 60 pictures to upload, but because I don't want to bulk upload, I'll upload once a day.

For now, I'm taking a little break though because I have a lot of homework to catch up this week, but after this week, my first semester will be over and I'll have a break!
I still have time to take pictures when I walk to and from the library, and in the evening, I don't have internet so I can PhotoShop when I'm not tired.
Not too long ago I starter reading though, so it takes a bit of the time from which I could use for PhotoShop, but it's better for my eyes since I'm using my computer everyday, all the time lol

I wanna thank everyone of my friends and visitors for all the comments and faves that I receive from you, it really makes me happy and wanna do more! ^.^

I've been doing a bit of cleaning up on my account here, deleting my not-so-good art, and rearranging my art. Also making albums for them and my favorite art from other people.
There's some really great pictures that artists upload on dA so it's really hard not to fav too many! lol
