The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Callibrate your Wacom tutorialHad you  finally  made  the transition from intuos 3 to intuos 4?, or Are you rich to change into an intuos 5? Had you made the transition from a first generation cintiq  to the new ones?. More levels of pressure will mean  more quality to the paintings, am i right?. 
Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only  to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?
Did you ever thought that painter its hard to handle with new tablet? Too much pressure? If it has more pressure why i cant control more easier the beggining of the stroke which is more crucial?.

Everything! Wolves, foxes, fennec foxes, ferrets, servals, bobcats, tigers, other big cats, small cats, deers, dragons, gryphons, dogs, birds, hybrids, original species.. bring it!
I'm leaving the details to your imagination, but here are some things I really like:
-White base color with black and red markings<33 (mostly on canines)
-Cute and fluffy things! No need to go all big eyes and oversized heads, but animals with fur. Creepy and slimy things just aren't my thing.. Still don't be afraid to make something dark/evil
-Anything tribal
-Native american stuff

-Tawny, golden, brown, white, red, blue, cyan, gray, black (well, not all combined)

As some of you might've noticed, my premium membership expired a few days ago... It's kinda annoying to be stuck with the ads and simple looks again. But that's how I've used DA before so I'm fine with it for the moment. I decided that instead of using my points for a new membership, that I'll donate them for a big space art contest that's coming up. It's gonna be a huge thing that I'll let you all know pretty soon!

I usually don't like to ask for help, but I'm gonna have to ask if any of you could spare any points? I know I've ran a donation pool before and it went pretty well. I managed to get over 900 points to contribute for the contest that's coming up with over 5 groups participating, but we need even more! So if any of you are willing to spare a few points to help towards the groups' contest and for me to get a membership again, I would be really honored! Remember, you get a feature in my journal, a big hug, a llama in case you didn't already get it, and this super good feeling in your chest! Hehe! ;)

Been dead for a while?
Well yeah I admit it, I haven't been on much lately, again... Not gonna make excuses, it's just that I don't have the time. I sincerely miss all of you guys and the fun of DA, uploading my artwork, discovering new ones, getting inspiration, commenting, etc... but I just don't have the time anymore. I'll still try to talk as much as possible. In fact, if you wanna talk more to me, feel free to note me and/or ask for my e-mail address which I'll gladly give to you.

Anything coming up?
Well I have a lot of artwork to upload that's been waiting for the last two months or more, but due to technical difficulties, I can't upload them until I get a new computer which is gonna be a while... I hope I get a MacBook in October or November, but it's really expensive to get those... But it's a school requirement so my entire family's saving up. I feel special! Lol!

I can only put a donation pool when I get a premium membership. But on the top right you can donate points just like how you can donate a llama. Thanks!

Aww that sucks. You can always download this free antivirus program called avast. Works better than norton, symantac, or mcafee and it's free. You only have to pay if you want extra things. But it works pretty good to clean your computer from viruses and all.

That's pretty good. Just some statistics: norton was tested at a site and detected 3/10 viruses. Avast detected 9/10 lol
