Microsoft Employees Disrupt Wii U Best Buy EventsRemember how Nintendo was showcasing some of their E3 games at participating Best Buy stores around the country? Well, apparently Microsoft employees have been hired to go to these events and preach about the Xbox One and make comments like "why would you buy a outdated Wii U when the Xbox One is right around the corner?"
However, the employees aren't getting what they hoped for. Most customers just start bashing the Xbox One in response. Seriously, Microsoft, the people attending these Best Buy Wii U events are people who are intimately familiar with the crap you pulled at E3. They ain't takin' your shit.
At first I thought this might just be a case of one really loyal Microsoft employee taking matters into his own hands (especially since the original source was /v/), but reports have come in from numerous Best Buy's around the country that indicate many Microsoft employees have ambushed the demo lines trying to persuade people to switch to the Xbox One.

Please Pants Responsibly (Paper Notebooks FTW)

There are two ways to write a novel. Plotting (you make an outline, a plan, a roadmap if you will, and then you sit down and write it) and pantsing (you write "by the seat of your pants, throwing caution to the wind). So when I get asked if I'm a plotter or a pantser, I'm all like er, uh, hold on, let me? Pantser? I think? But I kind of, um, do planny things?
And it gets kind of awkward because in these inarticulate moments I have managed to confuse everyone including myself. And probably spilled a drink.
In recent discussions, however, I've had a bit of a revelation, silly as it is. I've realized that I -- like many writers -- am a plotter/pantser hybrid. And perhaps what I'm doing is something we could call Pantsing Responsibly. And, maybe, just maybe, I could share some of my responsible pantsing tips with other writers. Starting with paper notebooks.

The Used Game ParadigmOver the course of this past generation I've been watching the video game market react to the way it's been forced to deal with increasing changes. I've come out against used game sales and even written a journal about boycotting GameStop because (like most people at the time) I believed they were the root cause of all the problems the video game industry has. But that's something I don't believe now as intently as i did then. From where I sit, piracy and used games sales are a problem, but not in the way game companies want us to believe that they are.
Used games are a good thing for consumers. We get to try games out, and if we don't like what we see or finish it early, we trade it in and try another title instead. It's a very good system for us since video game rentals are much harder to come by. Most video rental stores in America have gone extinct and outside specific Red Box Kiosks there aren't a lot of places for consumers to rent video games. The exception, of course, being thr

SPIKE updatesJust thought I'd share with you guys some updates on the progress of finishing my "SPIKE" novel.
A lot of people have asked me how it's going, when it will be published and stuff. I really appreciate getting asked these things because it shows that people are actually interested in my writings, and that it just such a great feeling

I've got two news for you guys today though: one bad news and one good news. Let's start with the bad news.

Oh my GEEE!
I got PhotoShop 7.0 now! I'm so happy!
I really missed having PhotoShop!
Today and last night I fixed about 30 pictures and made about 10 space art/textures for a total of 41 art!
So I got 41 art including:
-Photography such as the sky, trees, clouds, planes

-Textures such as clouds from pictures, and novas I made myself
-Two abstract art such as an eyeball, and a weird galaxy (preview is my new icon)

In the future I will start drawing sketches again like I used to before by looking at a reference picture.
But before I draw, I'll first upload my old sketches (the good ones)
There's mainly stuff like DragonBallZ, Neopet, and Sonic.
About 10 altogether I think.

Now for the boring part (my life LMAO).
Nothing much-killer words-Besides the fact that I got PhotoShop 7.0 and been doing a lot of graphics.
I've also developed a taste for photography and the sky

I'm thinking about joining an official space contest on dA, but I don't think I'll win...
But I'll still try just for the fun of it.
And it'd be great if some of the famous artists get to see my art and tell me what they think about it (e.g. YOU SUCK) lol

I've been thinking about starting a blog...
Like not for everybody to read, so it's more like I keep it to myself unless people wanna read it.

It's almost exactly the same as CS2 except the text font is different, and for the effects, instead of a new window where you can choose them all, it's only one at a time, but there's a few good things it has that CS2 didn't have, like the right click > select all lol
